Quality Assurance Officer– DPH-Press

Job requirements and description:

  1. Monitor all processes that leads to finished print jobs.
  2.  
  3. Ensuring that all print products/jobs leaving the press are of standard and top quality.
  4.  
  5. Inspects all printed signatures of books for correct pagination, bleeds, trimming, folds, etc., immediately a new job begins on press.
  6.  
  7. Pay attention and arrest any impending error or issues that may arise after the production process is completed.
  8.  
  9. Ensure that thorough checking is carried out on all bound books by sorting out books that are wrongly collated, incorrect pagination, ink-stained and ones with poor quality binding.
  10.  
  11. Ensure that all the press print products meet their set standards and specifications in terms of colour, size, stock requirement, finishing, quantities etc.
  12.  
  13. Notify immediate supervisor in the event of serious problem affecting quality of print products before delivery.
  14.  
  15. Document any mistakes or errors in the course of checking printed jobs and report your findings to the Supervisor for reviews.

  17. Understands the production workflow

  19. Checks, analyzes daily quality control reports of the previous work and activity reports of quality control inspectors.

  21. Establishes priority of work for material inspection (Works with scheduling and production to establish priorities of work for material inspection)

  23. Determines, according to Bindery needs, priority of inspection of advance copy material.

  25. Spot checks work being produced in the pressroom and bindery.

  27. Supervises inspection of shipment of customer samples produced by the machine and hand binderies

  29. Maintains files on all jobs run in pressroom, including press color OKs, advance copies, signatures, some advance copies of bindery, as well as copy sent to customer.,

  31. Follows through on jobs in plant which may need special handling and which have special standards and specifications.

  33. Analyzes press problems, stock problems, inks and chemicals, etc., to assist personnel in reaching prescribed quality standards.

Security Liaison Officer – Canaanland

Job requirements and description:

  1. Weekly preparation of situational Security reports as presented to him by the Contract Manager.
  2.  
  3. Reporting all incidents to the Church Admin/CSO & appropriate quarters.
  4.  
  5. Monitoring the daily biometric systems to determine and confirm correct number of operatives at work each day vis-a–vis the real amount due to the Contract Manager every month.
  6.  
  7. Liaison between the Church, the Church Security group and the Contract Manager.
  8.  
  9. All necessary directives from the Secretariat are channeled through him to the Contract Manager.
  10.  
  11. Oversees the administration of the entire Security Department.
  12.  
  13. Plans, develops, implements and manages corporate security strategies for the church.
  14.  
  15. Ensures compliance with security policies, procedures and best practices, taking cognizance of the peculiarities of the church.
  16.  
  17. Provides effective deployment, supervision, monitoring and review of security personnel and intelligence network in order to ensure optimal service delivery at all locations.

  19. Coordinates and liaise with other security agencies including the Security Service Group – FT, Police, DSS, nearest Military and Paramilitary formations to maintain peace and tranquility within Canaan land and its immediate environs.

  21. Receives and assign roles and duties to external attaches.

  23. Oversees incident response as well as the investigation of suspected and actual security breaches.

  31. Works with the IT department in monitoring surveillance equipment and completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

  33. Assists in the development of a security-conscious culture among the workforce by organizing relevant security awareness programs.
